Chris Miller

Co-Founder/Coach

Coach Miller founded Tampa Bay Life Coaches with Coach Mike Mann after a 20-year career as a high school teacher and head football coach.

During his time as a teacher and coach at Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, then later at Seminole High (Seminole), Coach Miller had his fair share of successes on the gridiron, but what gave him his greatest sense of pride and fulfillment was seeing the impact he made on his student-athletes off of the field.

During his 20-year career, Coach Miller not only sent well over 100 student-athletes off to college, but he also helped countless more find their calling that had nothing to do with football or college. He made it his mission to help young people find their passion in life and pursue it.

Coach Miller is a Native of St. Petersburg Florida, He graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy and the University of Tampa. He is Married to his Wife Sandra and they have 2 sons.

Mike Mann

Co-Founder/Coach

Coach Mann founded Tampa Bay Life Coaches with Coach Chris Miller following a 31-year coaching career with Pinellas County Schools.

In his 3 decades plus of service to the youth of Pinellas County, Coach Mann served as an assistant football coach at Dunedin High (1987-1995) and later at Seminole High (2006-2022). Coach Mann also served as an assistant softball coach at Seminole High school (2006-2022).

Coach Mann could boast about his many awards and accolades in the sports and coaching world, but what drove him to coach all those years was fulfillment and satisfaction he received when he saw his pupils find success away from the football or softball field.

His passion for mentorship and helping people is his true calling.

Coach Mann is a Native of Largo, Florida. He graduated from Largo High. He is Married to his wife Lisa and they have 2 children and 1 grandchild.

Mark Deruzzo

Director of Fitness & Wellness

Mark DeRuzzo comes to Tampa Bay Life Coaches as the Director of Health & Fitness following a 35-year career as a physical education teacher, varsity football coach, and head softball coach.

Following his career as a two-sport athlete at Western Kentucky (football & baseball), Coach

DeRuzzo worked for Pinellas County Schools for over three decades at Osceola High and

Seminole High (Tampa Bay) and helped thousands of young people reach their potential.

Coach DeRuzzo is married to his wife Sherry and they live in Pinellas County Florida.

Kreg Brown

Coach

Kreg Brown comes to Tampa Bay Life Coaches with over 10 years of coaching experience.

A graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy, and Florida International University, Coach Brown played college football and earned a degree in recreational sports management.

After a pro football career that featured a stop with the Tampa Bay Storm, Coach Brown founded his own business called Hunger Games Training.

Coach Brown has found his calling in mentoring and helping young people in away way he can to see them reach that full potential.

Coach Brown is from St. Petersburg, Florida. He is married to his lovely wife Kim, and they have a son and daughter.

Kenny Crawford

Coach Crawford comes to Tampa bay life Coaches with 25 years of experience in the public education system at Title 1 schools!

Coach Crawford has taught Physical Education, Driver Education, Social

Studies, ESE & Critical thinking. During his time as an educator he has also coached Football, Wrestling;

Cross country including 13 years as the Head Football Coach at Pinellas Park High School.

During his time as a Coach, Crawford helped hundreds of kids find their passion and move forward to

College, Vocational training, the work force & the Armed services!

Coach Crawford is a 1993 HS Graduate from Boca Ciega HS in Gulfport Florida. After High school he went on to play football at Westmar University in Lemars Iowa & eventually transferred & graduated from Huron University in South Dakota! Coach has traveled the country and gained much life experience & is very passionate about helping kids find their calling! Crawford credits the Coaches in his life for his

success!

Coach Crawford is a native of Gulfport Florida & currently resides in St. Petersburg with His Wife

Heather.

The Crawfords have 2 children Corbin 19years old & Kennedy 16 years old.

Nick Steadman

Working with TBLC has given me the opportunity to reach my goals and seek positive change in various

aspects of my life.

These experiences have contributed meaningfully to the well-being and success of

seeking positive change. This perspective has emphasized the connection of various aspects of life.

My journey working with the life coaches has been marked by contributing to the journey of seeking a better, more fulfilling life.

INTERN

Anuv Singh came to Tampa Bay Life Coaches after two years of involvement in other youth development programs, where he mentored kids at a foster home and a charter high school.

Anuv is a Berkeley Preparatory High School graduate. During his time at Berkeley, he garnered numerous academic awards. A member of the Math and Science honor societies, he helped tutor fellow students and participated in regional, state, and national math competitions. Early on in his schooling, Anuv developed an interest in computer programming, which led him to learn a variety of programming languages and complete research projects in the field of machine learning.

Pursuing his studies in computer science, Anuv has committed to the University of Florida, where he will join the Honors program and the University Research Scholars Program.

During the final stretch of his senior year, Anuv joined the TBLC program to help him prepare for a successful college life. Recognizing TBLC's impact on his life and wanting to help other students, Anuv joined TBLC as an intern, seeking to use his knowledge to aid TBLC's logistic operations.
